This impact wrench from DeWalt has been developed with the scaffolder in mind thanks to the advanced control module which even features a dedicated scaffolding mode. In scaffolding mode in the forward direction it prevents the user over-tightening the fastener, and in the reverse direction it stops as soon as it detects the fastener loosen, which prevents run-off.
The hog-ring anvil is great if you need to change sockets without having to press a pin to do so, great if you are switching between two sizes of sockets regularly. The other special setting is precision mode, which pauses before impacting in the forward direction, and reduces speed when loosening once it breaks free.
There is a bright LED worklight that consists of three powerful LEDs around the anvil which can be adjusted to different brightnesses depending on the ambient light level. This version is sold without batteries or charger, allowing use of your existing 18V XR and 54V XR batteries from your other DeWalt power tools.
